Sadie Amara Calvano has become famous for the role of Violet Plunkett that she played on the CBS comedy Mom. Calvano, a Californian native initially was interested in competing gymnastics. Then, she chose to be an actor. In a CBS"NCIS," the show "NCIS" her debut came in 2010. The following year, her first big-screen appearance came in the biographical drama film J Edgar. She has become one of today's most promising actors in recent times. In 2011, she received an award for a Young Artist Award nomination for the Best Actress on a TV Series as Guest Actress 11-15. The year 2013 saw Calvano nominated once again for the Young Artist Award. This is for her role on the Disney XD show 'Kickin It'. Calvano had a significant role in "Mom" in the series the first three seasons of, as well as making appearances on several episodes of Season 4. Calvano's role in the role of a rising star on Mom earned her an award called the Gracie Allen Award, which is given to outstanding female actors.
